Thank you for participating!

You shared your #FPOTD with me — maybe once, maybe twice, maybe every day. I share those thoughts here to give people an idea of the wide range of moments that can make a day special, an inspiration to seek the little bits of happy in their own experiences. Here's a sample of the things that mattered in your world:

  • Receiving not one, but two job offers in a day!

  • Having a one-on-one chat with a college student who needed the support of someone who has experienced loss like his.

  • Laughing with my husband as we did the dishes together after dinner. We usually take turns doing them each night, but did them together tonight for some reason or another. It was fun to connect and laugh about our days.

  • Spending time with my pets.

  • Texting my wife that my plane just landed after a long week of business travel.

  • Watching TV with my husband with the pup snuggled up on my lap

  • Learning of some unfortunate situations of multiple friends, and gaining perspective that I didn't even realize I needed regarding just how blessed I am.

  • Talking to my brilliant nephew about his day. He is such an awesome kid.

  • Getting a sweet thank you note from my niece.

  • Getting a cancer diagnosis today and immediately feeling the love and prayers surrounding me. God is good!

  • Coming home to an empty sink and clean counters because I made sure to get it done before leaving to go knit with a friend...it made the husband happy too

  • My partner and I decided on an organizational structure for our future business venture! LLC here we come.

  • Having my three boys serenading me with Happy Birthday as I came downstairs.

  • Cuddling with Hubby and playing video games.

  • A first meeting with a client on a job that appears like it will be a lot of fun

  • Enjoying dinner on an outdoor terrace with two interesting people from Switzerland.

  • Reading a book with my son before bed...and having him read nearly 3/4 of all the words

  • Getting some much needed clarity on the future. I'm so thankful to have such supportive people surrounding me.
